This is for those people who complained about the heat and humidity last summer. Please, stop doing that! Mother Nature listened to you and I am 'enjoying' (not) the fruits of your complaints.
This winter and even before winter officially started has been just week after week after week of snow and sub-freezing cold. We had snow before Christmas. We had snow after Christmas. We have had freezing temperatures and below zero temps with wind chills. Before I was released to drive, I had members of the Parkesburg Mennonite Church coming here to plow the driveway twice. I have plowed three storms since I was released to drive and the storm yesterday required several runs with the plow. Today is the calm before another storm tomorrow and Wednesday could be ice then snow then rain and we are looking for another storm on Sunday!
So, please, next summer when you have sweat running down your back and the lawn is brown and your electric bill is out of sight with your air conditioning cranking all day long..... remember what you are wishing for!!
