Sunday was, for me, a day of rest.
It started out well. I was up with the alarm, spoke to Debby who was up early so she could go to the Eagles football game with her daughter, Carrie. I told her I had a busy day planned and we both headed off to start our days.
I went to church and then came home to relax a bit with Molly before launching into my day. It did not take long for me to drift off into a light nap in the recliner.
From that point on, things went downhill. I just could not stay awake. I finally gave up and I took Molly with me into the bedroom and fell sound asleep. Never could get on track for what I had planned.
The only thing I did accomplish was to get the battery on the ruck charged enough to start the truck up. I had tried it on Saturday and while it had juice enough to open doors and have some interior lights on, there was not enough to kick the motor over. I had the charger on Saturday night... until the rain came. I put it back on until almost dark yesterday and the truck started up with no problem. I really need to take the truck out on the road. It has not left the driveway for quite a while. I am wondering if I should put a new battery in when I get the truck inspected. I need the truck to function properly in the winter for plowing!
Hoping that Monday will be a more productive day for me.
