Another Excellent Day....

Two in a row.... wow!

I slept well last night and when I did get up, I felt energized.  The first thing I did was to take down the shower liner.  It is a really nice, heavy clear shower liner.  But after a while, the soap scum streaks on the liner and I take it down and run it through the washer.  This time I added a couple of towels that needed to be washed.  I also decided to use the sanitizing cycle on my washer.

I had never used it before.  But I was adding a good slug of vinegar to the wash to help cut the scum and I thought if I added really hot water, it might get all of the streaks.  (Usually it leaves a few on the liner and with the dog sitter coming soon, I wanted it extra clean.)  The washer took pretty close to an hour and a half for the cycle, but it heats up the water to sanitize the stuff in the washer.  I have to say, that liner looks like it is brand new.  There is nothing left on the liner to indicate that it has been used at all.  I guess I will be doing that again when it needs to be washed.

I also make my vinegar and Dawn mixture to use in the bathroom to clean the walls in the shower and the tub and sink.  It is currently still soaking, but before bed, I will rinse and scrub to remove it.

Also did the little bit of laundry I had.  But I am starting to pack for my trip, so I wanted to get some things clean to get basics in the suitcases.

Worked on the Sunday meeting for the ladies.

Transferred money for the taxes and made a correction in the money that is going into my tax account for next year.

Got the trash out.

It was a busy day and I felt really good.
