A light day...

It was a glorious night being in my own bed.  But I was really more tired than I realized.  After I posted yesterday, I found that I was moving very, very slowly and you know what????  It was OK.

So I watched a bit of TV, got a shower and then did a few things.  I did enjoy the shower.  My shower had a "rain shower" head and it was fine, but I have long been used to having a handheld shower head as part of the tub in Parkesburg.  Rob had added the same thing to their bathrooms in their house, and so I asked him to do the same here.  He ordered 2.  He replaced the shower head in their bathroom on the upper level and then replaced the shower head in my shower.  It is a very nice shower head with multiple kinds of sprays.  And the hand held part is the only shower head... so it is held on the main head with a very strong magnet and then comes off to get water where you need it without having to be a contortionist.  Plus, he installed a shut off valve at the base of the hand held part.  This allows me to shut off the water when I shampoo or soap up.  And being at the base of the hand held part, makes it much easier to use instead of having to reach up to the back of the main part coming out from the wall.  He is such a clever person,

I did go out to take trash to the transfer station,  I had gathered it up before the movers arrived but had not gotten a chance to take it up before they arrived.  Then I headed to Fred's to get a few groceries.

Rob and Kate dropped by on their way to a covered dish dinner to kickoff their Tai Chi workshop weekend.  Kate had made soup to take and they brought it over to heat it up before going to the event.  Having a house in the city is proving to be very handy for them.  While it was heating Rob moved a very heavy box onto a dolly for me.  Somehow a fairly good sized box of tools had ended up in the craft room.  It was too heavy for me alone, but the two of us did get it back out to the garage and tucked out of the way.  They left me a bowl of Kate's delicious sweet potato soup and headed out for the events of the weekend.  I might see Rob of Sunday afternoon depending on the schedule of things with the Tai Chi folks.

I headed to bed a tad after 11 PM.

Hope that your weekend is going well.  Mine is!!
