I have lost a day....

First, yesterday (Wednesday) is was at home most of the day.  the boys... both of them.... had a nasty case of the runs.  So I was constantly trying to get them outside before they pooped and usually not moving fast enough and therefore cleaning up accidents all around the craft room and it's lovely, white carpet.  What a day!!

Second, I woke up thinking that yesterday was Tuesday.  Even though I had lived through Tuesday the day before, I woke up just sure that it was only Tuesday.  I even had notations on my Tuesday planner, so I knew what day it was on Tuesday.  But somewhere overnight, my mind erased Tuesday and went back in time.  Just added to the confusion of the day.

As a result, I did not get much done on Wednesday.  Besides trying to keep track of where the dogs were at all times, I did not do much to move the unpacking along.  I did locate hangers in one box which allowed me to hang the box of coats that I came across, in the coat closet on the upper level.  I also went through a small box marked "desk papers" and put the relevant stuff in the small writing desk that Rudy had refinished and threw out items like pens and liquid paper that were all dried up.

Rob and Kate picked me up at 5 PM to go to dinner.  Seth and Jen were not available as they were flying out of the area last night.  So, it was just the three of us.  We went to a place called Taco King.  It was a lovely place.  You placed your order at the counter, grabbed your drinks and found a table.  By the time we were getting in our seats, the food was there.  It was very good and really nice portions.  The chairs at the tables were highly decorated.  They reminded me of the chairs at the Mexican restaurant in Middletown, DE that we used to go to.

It was nice to get out.  I love being able to be with Rob and Kate from time to time.

So, it is late Thursday morning and I am still in my jammes.  Just got off the phone with Mary Davis.  I had called her to get some info on one of her daughters and we talked and talked and talked.  Thank goodness for cell phones and unlimited talk plans.

Now, to get the rest of my day started....
