Waiting for the stove…
It has been a busy week.
I have been picking up items for a silent auction for PABA (Parkesburg
Area Business Association), grocery shopping, going through more ‘stuff’ from
the Maryland home, took two of my finished quilt tops to my quilter in
Delaware, attended a free lunch sales pitch for a new type of attic insulation…
I went for the free lunch and will pass on the insulation…visited with a couple
of Rudy’s favorite co-workers, played Animal Crossings each night, totally
cleaned the area where the new stove will be going, including the toaster oven
I have not touched in quite a while.
Still a couple of things to do, but Sears should be coming between 1:00
PM and 3:00 PM with my new stove. It
will not be connected until tomorrow, but it will be ready to be converted to
propane and then connected to the supply line.
I did manage to get all of the items that I am saving from
the Maryland house put away into the cabinets in the kitchen. I find there are days when I do a fairly good
job at purging things I have not used in years as well as getting rid of things
that are well over 40 years old, like plastic containers that look and smell
wonky. It made room for my Temp-tations
oven wear casseroles and piggy soup bowls.
This evening my BFF Debby is coming over. She just got a new Kindle Fire HD and she is
hoping that I will be able to help her learn how it works. I do not know how it will work out as I do
not have a Kindle, but it will be fun to play with it. Debby also wants to see the stove. She will be able to look at it, just not get
a meal out of it until the next time she comes over.
Hopefully today I will be able to get a little more sewing
some.
Whew…. No wonder I am tired!
