Ready... again, Set....again, Ready to go!

I feel like this is a repeat of a week or so ago.  Planning the trip to the Outer Banks with girlfriends was quite the hassle.  It was sewing stuff, clothing, stuff for the dogs and even once I was on the road, I still felt like I had left things at home.

Home from OBX on Saturday.  Unload the car.  Unpack the suitcases.  Realize that I am not leaving for the next adventure on Wednesday, but rather I am leaving Tuesday.... Yikes!!!!!!!!

Quickly, do laundry.... clothing, dogs bedding, and regular laundry left behind in the hamper.  Dry, fold and place stuff in suitcases.  Still have things all over from OBX.

Also contacting EZ Pass.  The transponder that I have had for 11 years failed me on the trip south.  It did not register when going through the toll areas.  What a pain in the butt.  So I had to remedy this situation before heading out tomorrow.  The only place to exchange the faulty ones for new ones was Harrisburg.  I did not have time to drive there and get new units.

They now sell "GoPacks" in some locations where I can obtain a transponder.  So I did.  But then I had to jump through hoops to get the thing registered and combining things so my car could be listed.  I will not bore you with the details,   Just be sure your older transponders are working BEFORE taking a trip.  They will happily send out new units, if you just request them.

But I am packed up.  Trash is out in the trash can, ready to be picked up.  I have a friend coming by to move the can to the back of the house.  Car is gassed up and I just have a couple of last minute things to do before I head out for my adventure.

Stay tuned for stories and pictures from the road.
