A Nice Saturday....

Slept in until close to 9:00 AM, with the normal early morning (around 7:00 AM) pee break and dog feeding.  A bit of coffee and cleaned up the kitchen.

Admired the dining room table.  It really does look nice and I am also enjoying the fact that the Christmas decorations are finally down.  I was really enjoying them this year, more so than other years.  I guess I am moving forward with my mourning.  Sometimes it seems like I am either stuck or going backwards.  But then I find things that show I am moving forward.

Spent the afternoon in the sewing room.  I am still making Christmas presents for last year.  Poor Rob and Kate did not get their box mailed because I found I was not quite ready to send it as their gifts were not complete.  So I am now working on their items so I can get them mailed as soon as I get them complete.  I cannot tell you what they are until I get them delivered.  But, I promise I will let you know and send pictures!

Came upstairs to let the dogs out and figure out dinner.  I grilled burgers, and made mushroom and Swiss burgers with some fries.  Even grilled a burger for each of the dogs.  They think they are very spoiled pooches.

I spent the evening looking through purse patterns.  My cousin, Marcia Beth Sinnott, is trying to see if I can find a purse pattern that will be what she is trying to find for her Granddaughter using the colors of Evansville University where Erin Sinnott is a rising basketball star.  So I was trying to find fabric with the college logo (neither Marcia or I could come across any) or an embroidery design (I scored on that one) so now all we have to do is agree on the purse style.  It was fun and I look forward to trying to help them out, but it is one of the reasons I never quite get all of my projects done.  I am always available to help others.....

So, I have dogs sleeping off their burger high on floor pillows.  I am getting ready for bed.  Church tomorrow followed by lunch served by Sheila to her Small Group and they invited me to come along.

Snow possibly on Monday, another 2 to 4 inches.  After the first storm that is more like a dusting!!

Here are a couple of pictures of my dining room table.  I have already piles a couple of things on it.  I just need a place to dump stuff.  But I need to learn how to put things away!!!

I love the blue color.  It really brightens the space.
