Going through clothing….
I am slugging through some of the ‘stuff’ I took from the
house at Indian Acres. Now that the
dream bed is in place… and yes, I still love it…. And the holidays are done…
although the decorations are still on the front porch, I will be doing the
sorting and finding homes for the 20 years of things accumulated at the summer
house.
Most of the stuff from the dressers (all three of them) were
stuffed into two, large plastic trash bags.
I got them out of the trash bags and sorted them into like piles on the
bed. I then went through several drawers
in the TWO dressers in my bedroom here at home.
I think I had enough tee shirts to live for 2 to 3 months and never wear
the same one twice. So I placed shirts
with shorts, shirts with leggings and have long-sleeved things together with
summer clothing and it is now in drawers or under-bed bins, except for the old
tattered stuff that was comfy but I did not go out of the house in them along
with odd colored item that I never did find something to go with. These things are now in bags to become rags
or get donated.
I now have to go through the top of my closet and rearrange
that for my sweat pants and sweat shirts.
Then I am finished with the folded stuff. Next will be the bags that are in the back
seat of the truck from the final day of moving.
That will be for another week.
Today… or this afternoon since it is now past noon… I am
going to be sewing. I need to start
doing some of the fun stuff I want to do.
The stress of moving is gone and I need to start enjoying the winter.
