New Year and Writing the Date….
My one pet peeve about the transition to a new year is
remembering to write 2013 instead of 2012.
Hopefully this blog will help me.
I already had to alter a post.
Two days in, and I already goofed.
When I write my blog entries, I do my initial draft in a
word processing program. That way, when
life gets in the way, I can let life happen and come back to my writing. Doing it online in the blog site, I sometimes
lose what I have already written and have to start over.
The second day of my Farmer’s Almanac Project (FAP) I wrote
up the little bit of information that I am reporting every day, saved the copy,
copied it on the blog and got ready to publish it. I re-read the content and caught the error in
the year.
It will take me a couple of weeks to get the tendency to
write 2012 out of my system. So, if you
see an errant date in my blog entries in the next few days, forgive me and
comment on the blog so I can change the date!
