January 13, 2013 – Almanac Project
The day started with dense fog and the fog never went
away. The amazing thing was that the
Amish must have had something going during the day as there was a steady stream
of buggies going by the house. That must
have been really fun in the fog! The
frightening thing was that around 10:00 PM, still in the fog, one of the
buggies went by, heading home I assume, with a single headlight burning. Hope the horse had a good sense of the
road! Wind picked up by the end of the
day. High temperature was 51 degrees,
low was 43.
