Ballastic Break....

As promised, I headed to Targetmaster for my first time on the range without anyone  who knew about guns.  I took my ear protection with me when I left and then just about forgot it in the car.  Picked up the targets and headed to check in.  I was assigned Lane 5 and given a Ruger SP101 .22 caliber revolver as the weapon to try.  After turning in my license and signing in the book, I put on my ear protection and headed into the range.  I had 100 rounds of ammunition and prepared to shoot.

I went through 3/4 of the ammo before I changed targets.  Then I put the other one up and fired off the remaining rounds.  I have not checked the targets (I brought them home) but I think I pretty much stayed inside the body of the target with every shot.  Not nearly as closely clustered as the semi-auto from last week,

I did not like the feel of this gun as much as the one from last week, but it had less buttons to move to load the weapon, but the trigger was harder to pull... it was a double action trigger.  If I were to get a revolver, it would have to be easier to pull.  I may try a single action next.

After I was done, I realized that I must have pinched my right-hand trigger finger.  Guess that might explain the slight pain I was feeling by the end of the 100 rounds!

OUCH!!!
